HTC Touch Diamond2?!?
 

tried searching, didn't find anything...!
so what do you guys think about it?! worth getting or no?! does it compare to the old diamond...?!
i'm thinking about getting it, and everything seems to be awesome - but i'm no expert, so i thought i'd get some general ideas on the phone prior to.
any feedback would be awesome!:thumbsup:

depending what your preference is I had the diamond before I think it's a great phone other than that it uses winmo but other than that I think the second one should be good. It should have some upgrades. Check gsmarena

mhm! my friend has the touch pro, and he thinks it's a pretty good phone! so i'm guessing HTC should be alright.
anyone have any input on acegsm?! are they trustworthy to buy from?! cause so far they're the cheapest place to buy from for the diamond2 (that i've come across!)

HTC is actually good phones. The touchflo 3d is actually awesome. I have no idea where the cheapest to buy. Do some research.

i don't like the ui of touch flo 3d

If you spend more than 700 on that phone its not worth it

Bought my HTC diamond when it first came out and got it for 740 ish

LOL! well acegsm(?) is selling it for like 675 or something like that. but the thing is i've never heard of them before, so i have no idea if they're trustworthy or not.
i guess i'll wait until the price drops down a bit more.

how do you like your diamond?! before the 2nd one was announced i really wanted the white diamond! looks so slick and unique! lolol!

The screen is nice, but too small

small is in the eye of the beholder. I'm surprised the CDMA Touch and Touch Pro has very little to choose from in terms of size despite that the PRO has a slide out keyboard.

I'm waiting for the "2" as well. htc.com has all the news about it.

At first, i was like phone was alright...
But after i started doing all these mods on it, for example changing the Radio for better Reception/GPS/WIFI and then the ROM , i was more satisfied with the phone.
People are trying really hard to port the TF3D2 to the diamond.
The beta version is out with bugs though.

I have the current HTC Diamond, and I love it. The only cons I find is that the speaker fucking sucks (not loud enough IMO, and speakerphone on it sucks), and the camera shutter takes way too long.

The camera sucks in general.

i am using it right now, is cool to have a pda phone with that size and for that speed ( as it for now ). decent camera, but the touchflo are kinda.. slow still after trying the HD. the battery last for 1 1/2 days after i was online 24/7 and on the phone as well. a great ppc i can say.

Have you used windows mobile before? It's not for everyone.

Generally, the people that like WM are the ones that mod the shit out of it....(by mod, i mean: custom roms, hacked/custom radios, custom home screens/plugins, etc.)

Most of the people that don't like modding hate WM. If all you want is text messaging, multimedia and the occasional email, look elsewhere.

IMO, modding is pretty much the only reason why people still use WM today.

PS: Before you guys bash me for being anti-WM....My phone is WM (TyTn II). :)

WM is good but the only reason I bought a HTC device was the TFLO3D.

I love modding and hacking the shit out of my Diamond because without it , it would make my diamond really boring. :P

is the phone realli light compared to the original diamond? the diamond 2 looks nice, but i hate phones that r light and plastic. makes it seem shitty and easy to break (like the omnia..)
