I've been. They have a theme park called Silverwood. Neat little place with a HUUUGE outdoor wavepool, and water park/slides.

Idaho is not exactly much of a "fun" vacation destination.

I've been THROUGH it a couple times... takes all of an hour to get across it on I90 going from Washington to Montana...

Stayed the night in Boise once, too... most boring place. On. Earth.

Depends on where you want to go and what you like. To be honest, I'd rather slice my own throat then go to Boise again but North Idaho (Coeur d'Alene, Kellogg, Mullan) is very picturesque.

Honestly man, I'd use Idaho as a jumping off point for Yellowstone or the Salt Flats in Utah. Its really as un-exciting as you'd think.

But, enjoy.

So Just FYI: The trip has been canceled. After we dug into "whats there to do in Idaho" we found nothing!

I'm not sure if the mods want to close this thread, or let it die down..

Cheers!

We're going to sticky it as a warning to others on why they shouldn't go to Idaho.
