Hotel room guests bookings just wondering because i can potentially save a lot of money.. say i have 4 people for the trip and booked a hotel room for 2 people, what will happen when i check in and 4 people shows up? will they not care or refuse to let me in? the reason being is that i have seen my friends book a hotel room for 2 people, and show up with like 4 or 5... or sometimes, book a condo/townhouse for 6 people, and have 9 people show up. extra guest charges are about $20 a night, times that by 2 more people and 3 nights, that's $120! i have never done that before.. what's your experience? |
provided that you don't make too much noise or bring everyone in at once, i dont see them noticing that you have more guests...but if your buds are gonna be crashing at your hotel, why don't you get them to split the bill with you? |

i mean, in las vegas it will be easy to smuggle people in because the hotel is huge. what if it's a smaller place like best western in like portland where the check in staff can see everyone. don't feel like forking out $100 extra to expedia if the hotel ppl doesn't care.. |
i think most smaller hotels dont care about it. except in japan, they're pretty anal about it |
