the issue comes that the owner has to be conscious that doing such an act in a public place will affect others in the car club. the offering of paying for damages to the other owner is a nice jesture, however it can be seen as "i can do this all i want, my freedom can be bought"
i also see the stance from the car club owners pov. they have to act up as a
PR representative that this type of activity is not tolerated. there is a time and a place for everything, this was neither the time nor the place, trying not to be cliche but its true.
People picking on his modding style of car is just weak. What it comes down to is trying to find something to pick on him about. it isnt Politically correct to pick on his race, but its perfectly fine to pick on his modding style and possibly lifestyle?
EITHER WAY, the gucci interior, thats part of the 300C styling, the dub styling. So its not exactly what i would do, but then i dont do dub styling. We dont see it as common up here, but down in the states, everyone does this to whatever which car.
Knocking the 300's is kinda weak. yeah they are a chrysler, but from a business point of view, it was a very wise move on chryslers part to bring the car out. It was the outcome of the benz chrsyler merger, and the chassis on the 300s was based off of the benz S class. for a chrysler, it was pretty solid. For what you got, yeah they did go plastic on the interiors, but it was a huge leap forward from previous chrysler products.
My opinion is based on driving one for 2 weeks. I didnt like how small the windows were but was fairly comfy for a chrysler either way. bang for buck, it did come with a lot of little things that higher end more expensive cars only come with. would i buy one? possibly, but gas was rape, and having had a chrysler in the family before that was a POS lemon wont help on my judgement.
