| Out of country tickt
Ok so last weekend i was in Washington
and i got a speeding ticket ...i have no problem with paying the ticket because yes i was speeding and got caught red handed so paying it is no problem
...but my problem is that i have my N ....Do i get the points or demarites or what ever you wanna call it agaisnt my licence?

They are cracking down on unpaid tickets from the US...too many Canadians are getting tickets and not paying,,there was an article on here that Skid posted,,,if you plan on going back to Seattle ever, just pay it. Why risk getting into trouble in the US?
You were speeding, pay the ticket and be done with it.

theres an office right cross the trucking border i believe, to pay off the ticket.
just do it.

She asked if she was going to get points for the ticket and the answer is no.
She was fully willing to pay the ticket and had no issues with not paying it.

speeding tickets in the US do not show up on ur BC driver's record (maybe the rest of canada too).. u dont even have to pay it.. but if u dont, next time u go to the US, they might have a warrant for ur arrest!
If your driving excessively fast, they'll give u a "negligent driving, second degree" .. that DOES show up on ur BC license, but no points..
