people will buy it because its gonna be 99 when the new iphone is out so there isnt a need to get rid of it atm

but they need to get rid of 16gb 3G as the new 3Gs will be the same price

thats why they need to lower it to get rid of it before the new one comes out but for now the 8gb is the same price as it'll be only 99 when 3Gs comes out
