Updated my n97 yesterday and how I can't find the FM transmitter icon!
It isn't there anymore in Apps, or anywhere else.
Anybody know how I can get it back?

I'm thinking of picking up a 8gb Kingston one from NCIX, they have a promo on right now (till Oct 20) for 21.99, Kingston Class 4. If you search it up on the site, it will come up at the regular price of 24.99. :confused:

NCIX also has the A-data 8gb, Class 6 for 24.99, I want a Class 6 card, but I don't really trust A-data, I read some reviews saying it failed after a year or so.

I picked up my kingston 8gb from NCIX as for case, im using invisible shield rite now but i wouldn't suggest getting it, it's expensive and it does the same thing as the cheaper stuff.

I just checked Navifirm, and from snooping in Nokia's NSU servers, .26 is NOT for normal NAM, it's specifically for an South American carrier. Maybe the FM transmitter got removed from that.....:lol

Ya, I got a n97-1... but got good deal on it.
Fuck, I remember seeing it there before though before i updated.

South America = NAM also. They use N97-3s, I believe. I'll take a closer look later lol

The phone doesn't seem as sluggish after the update, I have 40.1mb on the C: free, is that good? The unlock button seems to be fixed, sometimes I had to unlock 2/3 times to unlock.

Too bad Kinetic scrolling doesn't work with Opera Mini (yet?)

Read again. Plural of "N97-1," i.e. the non-NAM one.

I had 60 MB free on C: after formatting my E: and hard resetting the phone. Much, much more smooth. Opera Mini 5.0 will have kinetic scrolling (you can try out the beta now at http://mini.opera.com/). I never had any unlock button problems. Using Palringo for MSN because of their nice new S60 5th version.
