for the n97, u need the 5800 patch since it has a touch screen. try searching for that ! ill thoroughly search for it when i have the time.

After 3 hours of mocking around and shaking hands, I finally got my n97 RM-507 with Language pack 25 installed. YEAH.....

To answer my own question, u need to find the firmware set for the product code you have. In my case, it's not available from navifirm. I NSS it to a different available product code (which is probably not necessary) and then dl that one instead.

1 of those 4 files is language pack and it works great.

Just did the upate from JAF and took less than a minute after all files were downloaded.

Damn, some of the programs/games I had was removed. It the backup/restore didn't completely work this time. Have to start all over again...

The worse part is the new Ovi Map is also gone.

WiFi is partially removed. It remembers the WEP key, but don't see it in the list until I add it in manually. It defaults everything to use my Rogers Internet instead of wifi because of that.

God, i'm so pissed at Nokia for making such a god damn shitty phone. I will never buy a Nokia phone again

First time i send my phone in because the touchpad no longer works and the camera lens is scratched
now i gotta send my phone back again for warranty because the camera lens is scratched again, the slider button broke off, and my bloody phone won't even turn on anymore

Not too mention they don't even paying for shipping, so i have to pay another $25 just to send it in and another $25 for my friend who lives in the states to ship it back to me

^ u can send it in for warranty for scratch lens? hmmm... didn't know that.

I think there's Nokia Canada in Toronto you can send for warranty, isn't it.
I used to have my 8890 sent within Canada from Authorized repair center. They took care of sending it back and forth.

^ did you try to slide the lock/unlock button couple of time to see if it helps?

I found some time if you slide it fast or with combination of series of actions, the back lite won't turn on properly until you slide the unlock on/off again.

It was even worse before the V2.1 update.
