I don't understand people who want a crazy 100 megapixel phone. Are you gonna portrait that shit? hang it on your fireplace?

Its the quality of the lens that make the difference, I recall the 3.2mp Cybershot K800i outputted way better Quality photos than the 5mp n95.. it was more sharp and the colors weren't so washed out... so keep that in mind.. if you want a more gigapixel phone, just buy a friggen digicam.

i have my DSLR i carry around everywhere I go and use a Nikon 6610i and have my iPod Touch. I'm set.

Capacity means little without a frame of reference. I've had phones with smaller batteries outlast ones with big ones and both are of comparable calibre.

I dont get whats to hate about this phone. Its my 3rd day using it and i love it to bits.
UI is smooth for the most part, no major bugs, doesnt hang or lag. Ergonomics wise, the phone feels solid.

I need to get one, but I think I'll wait...until the N98 comes out LOLLL (I bought the N85 after the N86 was coming out hahaha) Just ordered two more housings of different colours for my E71 -_-

RCubed, your avatar has inspired me. I have done something like that, but alas, I only have one cameraphone at work. Time to pull an aznboi128 and rock three phones on me.

Also, the prices for the N97 on eBay are insane, and they're not even the NAM ones. Over a grand, and another $200 for shipping on top!

its not bad... just i dont really like using it. i perfer using E71 then N97, i find the E71 easier to type and thin. also i'm too used to iphone's touch screen, N97 is just no where near the level of response.

taking pictures with N97 is sweet, especially with the FB integration. but i need to carry 2 phones when i go out, so N97 is just too big

i'm sticking with E71 + iphone until i get my hands on the factory unlocked 3GS later next month.

heres my take on this phone

i love it, but its tough to replace the very user friendly/powerful e71.

i have used the 5800 before, so i know the fair well the difference, the 5800 doesnt come even CLOSE in terms of speed. My biggest pet peeve is still the disgusting nokia touch screen

Has anyone figured out the copy paste keyboard shortcuts? Holding shift to highlight still works but we have to go into the menus for copy/paste...

Bumpity bump.
NAM Firmware update is available.

Downloading now!

edit:
its a frikken huge file!

After the update, widgets are more stable and load faster.
No more backlight errors or issues.

The update didnt restore the phone to stock, which is great!

People are saying OTA updates are messing up, so use NSU for now. Probably better regardless.
