The way I use it, can't last a full day with one battery.
Luckily I have an extra from my E71.

Lol no one that baller AND geeky, I think, and review sites would have both, but often biased. :(

incubus 07-05-2009 10:01 AM

Tim Budong 07-05-2009 12:53 PM

there is EVERYTHING to like about the phone
fast, smooth and fluid Symbian, the 5800 was great, this is fantastic

{JaP} 07-06-2009 10:40 AM

How do i back up my n97 before i do the update?

RCubed 07-06-2009 10:43 AM

Use Nokia PC Suite lor Ovi suite.

EDawg 07-06-2009 05:49 PM

So whats been the cheapest place to buy the N97 (locally or otherwise)
NokiaUSA deal is cheap but I don't have a US mailbox...

Tim Budong 07-06-2009 06:37 PM

amazon.com

RCubed 07-06-2009 06:47 PM

^I'd rather go with SNtraders online (Check HoFo)
Amazon sells for 599.99 USD which is 694CAD before taxes and duties.
I believe SN traders is selling for 799CAD+tax with free shipping.

SNTraders is selling it for 799

RCubed 07-06-2009 06:49 PM

^I'm assuming you mean Amazon.com.
Yes they ship to Canada.
Canadian site doesnt sell cellphones.

clowe 07-06-2009 06:54 PM

Why would you go SNtraders when:

Phone $694
Tax 12%
Duties 0% on most electronics (cell phones would be one of the items that have no duty)

OR

Phone $799
Tax 12%

What makes more sense?

I wasnt aware that theres no duties with cellphones. In fact, I had to pay duties on a few cellphones I've bought online. Maybe I should have looked into that.

Xander 07-07-2009 12:44 AM

Hmm you probably had to pay brokerage, not duties.

Anyways, for your reference:

I believe you have to call them to switch it.
A smartphone data plan is not the same as the iPhone data plan.. i think.

shenmecar 07-07-2009 05:43 PM

krazynuck 07-07-2009 08:05 PM

$699.99 CDN on Newegg.ca w/ free shipping

i am also on the fence for this phone....i still have my N95-1 and love it to death even though it has over 500 hours talked on it and is all dented up....it would be like trading the wife in for a hot younger model
