I don't think its any better than the 'big' one. Smaller internal memory, lower capacity battery. They removed the camera lens cover though, could be to fix that? I dunno. It doesn't make any sense to me for them to release the mini so quickly after the N97.

i know.. it's so stupid, i found out about a week ago on gsmarena.. they are planning to release it in oct.
i do find that the keypad is better because of the placement of the arrows, etc

Since my upgrade to V12.2.024, my phones been hanging a lot. Random resets, the works.. anyone else experiencing problems with the new firmware?

When ppl say that the battery doesn't last a day, are you guys using it extensively? i was thinking of getting one on Wed but now im not so sure. been debating between the Omnia II and N97 for a while

A little bit of talk and text, continuous email over IMAP and contacts/calendar over Exchange.

ok I Just called Costco USA and they say that I can't purchase things online unless i have a US CC, everyone that purchased the N97 on the site did you all have a US CC?

No idea on the U.S. CC thing.
Doesn't matter where the phone is made, if they're not "Made in China"/"Made by Nokia" they're assembled in China. Same difference.
Newer batches of the N97 have an improved camera lens cover that doesn't scratch your lens haha | |

It's $599 in Costco USA but $579 in newegg.com or $649 at newegg.ca free shipping (custom extra).

^ no worry. you can talk to live support for price adjustment if you haven't receive it yet.
I ordered a Archos 60GB from them. 3 days after I got it, it dropped $10. I got my $10 back after talking to the on-line live support.
