Does this mean we'll get knocked out by the second round? No.
Unexpected things happen in the playoffs. Even if we're the same team, if you run the entire playoffs again, we could get knocked out in the first round, we could get the same result and get knocked out in the second round (possibly to another team other than the Hawks) or even go all the way to win the Cup.
Did anyone expect Philadelphia and Montreal to be fighting it out for the East? Obviously not. Are either of them better teams than we are? Most likely not.
You don't have to be the best team on paper to win the Stanley Cup. You just need to get hot at the right time.

But any stacked team can choke if they don't have any players playing good.
I don't know what kind of changes to expect in the off-season though.

I was gonna say "reality has finally set in for the Habs"
but then, you can never write them off until they lose four games in this series.
There is still a chance they might come back but chances are slim.
I'll say "reality hits" when they lose 4-0 in the series.. which can definitely happen.

My only hope is that the Marian Hossa curse prevails in the Cup Finals and the Flyers beat them. Maybe it's too early to write off the Sharks or even the Habs, but damn the Hawks are looking good.

at the end of the 3rd period where Blake takes a penalty on Kane. How does a 5'10 178lbs Kane not get abliterated by a 6'4 220lbs Blake on the boards there?
I dont think ive seen Kane take a single hit this playoff.....

A shutdown Dman should not get 5 to 6 million in my opinion.
The Sharks fucking suck Hawk balls. I'm cheering for the Flyers now all the way. The Hawks have not been agitated, but if any team can do it and get them off their game could it be the Flyers?
Again, too soon to write off the Sharks and Habs, but I really hate the Hawks.
