Turco should have had that second one. Kes didnt even pick a corner. Glad we came out with 2 points after giving up that late goal to force OT.

fairly sloppy game i'd say tonight. thank GOD for the powerplays. passing was bad and barely any puck control in this game.
glad we won though!!

Decent game. Samuelsson looked pretty good tonight but the same can't be said about Bieska.

I think Shirokov should play on Friday, maybe even Grabner
give one of these guys another chance to show their offensive skills

Grabner had a shot. It was called the pre-season. If you can't step-up in the preseason when other teams field skeleton teams most of the time, what shot do you realistically have at the big show? Grabner better be goddamn amazing when he's called up. He's not getting any younger.
Skirokov had two games to show off what he displayed in the preseason and he fell flat. Maybe it was just jitters but he'll get another shot. He was only sent down to keep busy while the Canucks ridiculously only play twice in like two weeks.

maybe Wellwood, Glass and Shirokov | i was thinking the exact same thing. Putting Shirokov on the 3rd line would put alot less pressure on him. Plus it doesnt really help wellwood centering 2 guys that dont score.

It's 5-1 Calgary vs Chicago end of 1st period lol holy fuck. I guess Calgary was a little pissed about last season losing in game 6 at home to get booted out of the playoffs.
Kind of off topic. I have Huet in my pool and he got tugged after letting in 3 goals on 5 shots fml

Anyone watch the news today? Squire Barnes said Salo has been injured 38 times in 10 seasons.
Then they posted up a pic of Salo's face on the Operation game's body.
And of course, Salo had a red nose too.

I thought the canucks were bad at holding leads, calgary sucks balls. Up 5-0 and ends up losing 6-5 in OT. Hurting!
