I agree Don Cherry is an idiot. CBC needs to change a lot of things as well. The Leafs are going to be bad for a long time. Ottawa and the Habs ain't no cup of tea either. I understand the whole Hockey Night in Canada thing. But they always have such shitty games in the 4pm slot. Noone wants to watch those here in the west.
I think TSN needs to step up and do non-Canadian Saturday night games. The Philly vs Pens games, New York vs Boston etc etc if those are available on Saturdays. Even any game Ovie or Crosby are playing in. Wouldn't they get better numbers outside of Toronto??
The only reason I watch CBC for the 4pm game is to watch satellite hotstove.

Canadian content comes into play. Don't know what the ratio is, but that would be a major reason.

Ovechkin being day to day. means he can still "play" as he is not put on the IR list, thus i believe suspension can start the next game.
this makes all the sense in the world, the NHL can give him a "suspension" while he's hurt to "show" the very smart media they are handing ovie the book..
bullshit on this
correct me if im wrong tho, i havent really read much on this matter today, been busy

I think Gustavsson had a similar problem during the pre-season and they made it sound like it was nothing serious. Its happening again 3 months into the season.
Hope its nothing serious and he can continue backstopping pucks without anymore worries.

In 2010, I think it's gonna come down to Brodeur, Luongo, and Fleury. Who's gonna be the starter?
The coaching staff is here to win gold first, and not satisfy the hometown fans. Therefore, I think Brodeur's gonna start.
