^^^ take off the makeup and it's a different story.
she looks like she's got 10 pounds of it on her face.
GG, though. One of the most entertaining in recent memory. Up-and-down, lots of amazing moves by the Canuck players, pretty goals, some nice saves... awesome!

Some people in my section were cheering Luuuu when Lukowich got third star and he skated out.
What an entertaining game tonight. The atmosphere at GM place lately has been pretty good. Tough place to play indeed.
Again, what is wrong with the Flamers? Iginla almost went ape shit at the end. I hope he doesn't wake up.

saw this on Calgary forum, people there are trying to comfort themselves
quote:
I am just as frustrated and angry with the team as most everyone around here....7 losses in a row. But hey, at least us Flames fans can look back at this video to remind us of the best days the franchise has had! So take a gander at this gem and let yourself forget what is going on these days http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lg9n8iO5SEA
And always remember guys.....the Cansucks have no such video to look back on, because well, they are the only Canadian team to have never won a Stanley Cup!!
Didn't the Flames go on a huge losing streak the year they won the cup too?
quote:
so the flames pull off a miracle and win 23 of 30 games...and then what? San Jose or Chicago?
whats the point, sad but true

^ Hey! Isn't that the year the Flamers cheated their way past the Canucks in the first round with a goal that counted although someone threw the puck in (or kicked it?)
Don't remember the details too well anymore. I just know video replay wasn't really used back then.

Shitty my Sabres lost, but if they had to lose, glad it was to the Nucks That phantom cross checking penalty on Gaustad was pure bs, other than that, was a pretty entertaining game from what I remember, was in the Best Buy Club drinking and eating and drinking way too much lol.

Anyone catch Wellwood's pass through the legs to Demitra, then him shooting with his stick through the legs!?? Would have been up there for play of the year if that cheeky setup worked...

I had the same problem when I was up there. Too busy eating, socializing and getting hammered to focus on the game. They had a seafood spread - oysters, soft shell crab, sushi, etc. and a pretty decent bar. It's more of a lounge feel.
BTW it's great to see our D working hard with all the injuries. And it's great to see the whole team playing hard for 60 minutes. Quote:

They have chef stations, usually quesadillas, salmon, crab, roast, sushi, etc.., non alcoholic drinks are free and cash bar which kinda sucks, other boxes I've been in are open bar, but my date for the game last night insisted that all the drinks where on her tab last night, so that worked |

I was sitting on the center ice red line and it was a lot of fun. The young couple behind us were wearing Buffalo jersies and when Lukowich scored his goal, some guy came down to the couple and said "I'm sorry about that last goal" and gave them 2 Hagen Das ice cream bars. Hahaha.....
Oh yeah, and looking at the +/-'s right now, it's Ovie #1, Burrow's #2, Ehrhoff #3, Henrik #4 and Daniel #5.

Yeah, shitty call but the Canucks haven't had a call go their way for awhile and, well, it was coming. Shame it had to come at the expense of a team like the Sabres, who in a lot of ways are built like the Canucks. A couple skill players, a all-world goalie and a lot of hard working guys that get the job done and never quit.

Conolly is not even a PPG player and hes the top point getter on the team lol.
