I think of vampire, because he does have the widow's peak and the nose. Kind of like "The Count" on Sesame Street. LOL.
And no, you can't call him "Beauty", either. That was Sundin's name....... coined after the gayness pic of him and Kesler was uploaded here when he was playing last season.
BTW, we started calling Burrows a Monster because of whatshsnuts on television calling him that with such man-love conviction. |
pierre mcguire ... 'burrows is a MONSTER!'
luongo is a giant .. just doesn't have the right ring to it ... we need something better.

Especially while they're on the road - they get less-favourable match ups! | I think that any sensible Canuck fans new before hand that it was OV > H. Sedin. Things were a little more comparable when it was just "H. Sedin vs. Thornton" but OV is a beast on a different level.
Besides, the Sedins are suceptible for at least one stretch of dry spell a year so I think everyone should've seen it coming. This exactly why I hate the On-Pace-Stat so-called hockey pundits use. Putting H. Sedin on the elite pedestal because he's projected to make 140 points only half-way through the season.
On another note:
Anyone find it funny that Burrows has reached to being the reward of a Hot Line? He plays on the 1st line when the line is hot, but was favoured to play on Kesler's line mid-way through the BOS game when it's been determined that the Kesler + Raymond line is hotter at the moment.
Props to Burrs.

Props to Burrs. | Burrows is effective on every possible line in the NHL.. hes hardworking, can score goals, fast, smart, gets oppositions off their games, team player... What more could u ask for.... Well, I guess he can't scrap - pulling Toews hair was pretty embarrassing |

Far off in the distance would be St. Lois Blues, followed closely by Detroit and Chicago.

The Carolina Hurricanes traded defenceman Niclas Wallin to the San Jose Sharks on Sunday, also sending a fifth-round pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for a second-round pick.
"We thank Nic for his time in Carolina," said team President and GM Jim Rutherford. "He has been a key part of the Hurricanes for the past nine seasons, and we wish him and his family well."
Wallin had spent his entire nine-year career with the 'Canes.
The 34-year-old had 18 goals and 51 assists in his time with the team. He also won a Stanley Cup in 2006.
Meanwhile, San Jose currently leads the Western Conference with 85 points, and are likely looking to bolster their defence to help them shake their reputation as an early-exit squad when it comes to playoff time.

Not too many modern day athletes are honourable. He's one of the best - both on and off the ice. It's just amazing he's come into the league at the same time as Ovechkin.
