VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Roberto Luongo had a freshly painted new mask in practice today, but don't expect to see it in game action anytime soon.
Luongo's mask was adorned with colourful native-inspired art on it. He was apparently doing a favour for a friend--the son of famous goalie coach Francois Allaire.
But Luongo says he's not planning to use it in a game...Luongo's game masks are designed by Marlene Ross.
Looks like he won't be wearing that mask during games.
SOB was a no show in practice today. AV didn't want to comment on it. Hopefully that doesn't mean Andrew Alberts is in. Although SOB lookded god awful vs the sharks.
