Not having a healthy D line going into the playoffs is scary. It may not show after a round if they can advance, but sooner or later they will be exposed..
Next year's draft in Minnesota.

It's all about how a team comes together for the playoffs and how well they sustain it for the next 4 rounds. There's been countless of times in the history of hockey where a team who just limped into the playoffs made it all the way to the final. | Okay, please enlighten us with teams in the post-lockout era that have made it deep in the playoffs with injuries to marquee players.
We actually didn't have any significant injuries last season and we got rocked in the 2nd round.

Those times from 1996 onwards until around 2000 were just wow
I hated it. Trevor Linden did give Mark Messier the C. It was and during that time, you could see the moose had no heart whatsoever to even play here. With Bure down and Mogilny down, it was up to moose to pick up some slack, it never happened
Keenan is a dumbass anyways

^ Considering Mitchell is our number one shutdown Dman, I would say he is, SOB on the other hand is just an improvement over Rome, Alberts, Baumgartner, etc.

On a side note Brampton just got eliminated from the playoffs... Looks like we might see Hodgson joining the Moose soon... Maybe, just maybe, we'll see Schroeder/CoHo/Shirokov go on a line together

Cody Hodgson may not be reporting to the Manitoba Moose as quickly as thought.
The Vancouver Canucks highly regarded prospect dropped a bombshell to the National Post on Thursday, the day after his Brampton junior team was eliminated from the OHL playoffs.
Hodgson told the National Post that besides playing with a sore foot he had re-inured his back in a playoff game and that it’s continued to give him problems.

He's limited his mistakes this year and he wins puck battles in the corners. Considering he's 230+, he has good mobility. Bieksa can't play the puck to save his life and though Edler has a great shot and vision, he tends to panic in the defensive zone too.

Keenan is a dumbass anyways | Linden's career was in a downward spiral post 95, so what did we do? Sign another player going in a downward spiral; Mark Messier.

2-2 now. Ovechkin from Semin, and now he's leading the Art Ross race since he has the tiebreaker on Hank

What's scary is Daniel Sedin has 81 points in 62 games which puts him 12 best in the NHL, while no one in the top 20 for the exception of a couple have played less than 70 games. He could crack the top 10 if he has a big night 2morrow. Impressive!
And now Crosby gets to torch Atlanta tomorrow and the Islanders on Sunday! Are you kidding me!
Ovie gets to torch the Bruins after he lit up Atlanta...
Hopefully Calgary doesn't show up tomorrow and we shit kick them with big points for the first line!.

Damn... with Ovechkin having the last game, it's gonna be extremely tough.
He's capable of getting 4 pts a night if he has to.

It was a dice roll for Henrik to begin with. All the hockey experts including Ray Ferraro said that Ovie would win the scoring derby.
