Ya not hard to see tha players after the game. They park where some season ticket holders park too. Security may ask you to leave when they do their patrol, but you may catch some players sometimes. My friends went on the cali roadtrip and got pictures with a bunch of the Canucks in LA.
Let's see if Patty Marleau shows up for tonights game.
Nice, so season ticket holders have a special card I guess? or can you just flash your Season tickets?
read this in the comments on an article on theprovince.com, made me laugh

Dear Swede Olympic Hockey Team, Thank you so much for not picking Samuellson, we are forever in your debt.
Regards,
Every Canuck Fan
edit:
found another, this time part of the article:
How jacked up was Alex Edler?
Let's put it this way: Edler played 76 games this season and recorded 84 hits. On Thursday, he had five through a period-and-a-half. He didn't stop there, either. In the third, he nearly sent Drew Doughty back to puberty (not an overly long trip for young Doughty, but still, we're talking time-travel here) as the Kings defenceman cut in on the Vancouver net.

They get a card that they use to show the security to get down to the parkade to park. Enterence is off of Griffith way, from the casino side, not the Costco side.

I can't find it online yet, but it was pretty interesting in the post game interview with Andy Sutton.
"Are you an expert? Are you an expert?"

old article about how the Canucks quietly stole Edler from the Wings
Quote:
There were rumblings on the draft floor that Detroit general manager Ken Holland was looking to trade up from 97th, but Nonis had no way to plan for that. So he quietly worked potential deals for a third-round pick before the Wings.
Fifteen minutes before the Dallas Stars were to choose 91st, former general manager Doug Armstrong agreed to give Nonis his third-round selection in exchange for the Canucks' third-rounder in 2005, which was to be a stronger draft class.
"As soon as the Canucks got that pick," Andersson says, "I told everyone at our table I'd eat everything on it if Vancouver didn't take Edler. We drafted Johan Franzen, so we still got a good prospect with our pick. But I still think about that phone call I made. The fun part in all this is seeing how well Alex is playing."
[...]
Gradin, whose old Canuck No. 23 is now worn by Edler, says: "I don't think he realizes how good he can be. There is no limitation. For sure, there haven't been any Cinderella stories like this guy. I think it's quite amazing."
Just for shits and giggles, I googled the draft and Dallas picked up Richard Clune, who is now property of the LA Kings and have yet to play one NHL game.

According to Wikipedia, the 75th pick was from Washington, and they traded away their own pic (89th) to Tampa Bay.
