That was bad man, I was actually shaking during this game because I was so angry at the events taking place.
However, the look on AV's face after the goal was disallowed was PRICELESS.

First off NHL can go fukk them selves especialy the VP of Hockey operations....
Second all u Luongo haters he actually played a good game he was screend alot and Canuck players need to get these bodies out infront of Luongo....
Most of the Canucks were pretty much just standing and watching the puck...
we need Johnson and Willie back ASAP....our PK needs work and same goes with PP
damn people need to stop pointing fingers @ certain Canucks IE: Kesler Burrows...most of them did try but damn people some of them were trying to work hard for the game....
anyways Canucks need to go hard for game 4 it is now a must win....

The recent success by the Kings has brought back a lot of fans and made plenty of new ones so in Bettman's NHL, that's a market he wants to exploit.
Let's face it...the Canucks are going to have high attendance win or lose. Pretty much the same with every Canadian team other than the Oilers so the NHL could give two fucks about us. They want more Americans to care so they can make more money and the best way would be for big markets like LA, NY, etc to make deep runs into the playoffs.
Not saying that's what's happening but it is in the NHL's best interest for American teams to keep winning the Cup. I guarantee you head office will shit themselves sideways if either Washington or Pittsburgh is knocked out before they can meet in the Conference Final.

As much as I would love to blame the refs, the Canucks have no one else but themselves to blame for the loss. Their horrendous pk and the Sedins not showing up for 90% of the game.

Hockey pisses me off sometimes. It will always be somewhat flawed when refs pick and choose what are penalties. How many times in a game do they let things slide and then call something borderline. I'm not saying this because the Canucks are losing just talking about all hockey in general. Posted via RS Mobile |

I think the city needs to take a collective breath and realize that we're only down 2-1. There are still at least 2 games to go and anything can happen.
But, thanks to guys like Ed Willes (see today's column) and Tony Gallager, there's a reason why this city blows its spleen when we lose a game.

of course the fans are worry about the canucks, you know the canucks usually shit bricks on the road
when is the time you press the panic botton ? when they fuck it up on wednesday and down 3-1 ? i think its a bit too late
because canucks is the most inconsistent team, they need to get an early win to seal the deal !!!!!! If the canucks was the Red Wings or Capital then i wouldnt worry too much if they are down 2-1

If the canucks was the Red Wings or Capital then i wouldnt worry too much if they are down 2-1 | Well, we haven't lost Game 4 yet. We all know what the problems are, but part of the fun of playoff hockey is seeing if we can make those adjustments. That's why the playoffs are a marathon, not a sprint.
It's hard to come back from 3-1, but not impossible. In fact, several Canucks teams have done it, including the 1994 Cup finalists. You might not have been around to remember 1994, but that team had a very inconsistent regular season despite having players like Pavel Bure, Geoff Courtnall, Cliff Ronning, Trevor Linden, Jyrki Lumme, Sergio Momesso, and Kirk McLean all in their prime. We came back from a 3-1 deficit in Round 1 against Calgary and won the last three games in overtime. Anything can happen.

They need to see how effective they were in the 1st yesterday - open ice play and finishing checks. They need to play that for the full 60 minutes and not play to hold a lead but to WIN THE GAME!!! Blow them out of the water and show them what we are capable of.
I didn't see much heart in the last half - yes, some still played hard, I mean as a whole team with purpose. The no-goal was demoralizing but they have to move past it and keep the pressure on.
It's our series to lose. We need to take control of the tempo, keep the energy up and stay positive. Quote:

Possible? Of course. But we shouldn't let it come to that.

I know this is going to be a hard series, i said canucks in game 6 before the playoff started. I really hate to see LA is leading the series right now and Sedins getting shutdown, Luongo starts getting shaky and blueline's poor play. That's a pretty big hole that needs to be patch up.
In game 2, whats with giving up 2 goals lead and lost in OT at home when we had a awesome home records this year. In game 3, whats with the canucks got us so pumped in the 1st period and shit bricks in the 2nd period.
I pushed my panic botton because I really dont know if we can make any successful adjustment in time.
Before the final started, I also complained about the problem they have, if they dont adjust it in time, i am not surprise a first round exit.
added: LA sports fan must be so happy right now with Lakers and Kings to watch.. Fuck, but they are still bunch of pathetic fans for booing Canadian anthem and middle fingering Bernier for that big hit in the first period

The real issue here and the reason why we're down 2-1 in the series is the lack of puck pressure while on the PK.
We've outplayed the Kings 5 vs 5, but we're taking too many unforced, undisciplined penalties. We aren't moving our feet, hooking, grabbing, unnecessary stick work.
On the PK, there isn't enough pressure on the point men. Ryan smith is having his way in front of the net, Luongo is having to work too hard to see the puck.
I'm disappointed that the nucks weren't able to make any in game adjustments for the PK. We kept on doing the same thing hoping for different results, insanity i tell u.
I also felt the crowd noise was a significantly louder in LA than in Van. Yes, I know staples center holds more fans, yes i know this is the first time kings have been in playoffs in 8 years, but dammit, we're Canadian and hockey is out sport, the noise level in gm should be through the roof but that hasn't been the case so far.
game 4 boys, lets not disappoint.

sorry for post whoring, but there are just so many things i wanted to say....
I wonder if the league will work our way in the next few games, 90% of the people including players, coaches and sports analaysist dont really agree on what Mike Murphy's opionon about that disallowed goal.
Even Ron Maclean showing a wtf look on his face during the phone interview with mike murphy.
I wonder if the league will favor us, I remeber few games after the Burrows' incident, we've scored some nice goals and ref were sort of favoring the canucks.. lol
its a naive thought, i just put it up for fun
