That's what fans in Montreal are asking after Alex Ovechkin's pregame performance Wednesday night at the Bell Centre.
As the Washington captain and his Capitals teammates did their warmup lap just prior to the game's puck drop, two kids dressed in Montreal uniforms stood by the Canadiens entrance waving flags, helping to usher the team on the ice as the home crowd roared.
As one of the youngsters performed his flag-waving duty, Ovechkin skated toward the Capitals bench at full speed and stopped abruptly in front of the kid, spraying him with ice. Ovechkin then promptly took his seat on the Capitals bench.
According to Montreal Gazette hockey writer Dave Stubbs, Ovechkin did the same kind of thing prior to Monday's Game 3, nearly slicing a camera cable. Stubbs suggested Ovechkin's antics are no big deal, but the Globe and Mail's Sean Gordon called him "bush league."

why is Ovie such an asshole? LOL, was he not raised right or something? haha
I wouldn't read too much into it. Reporters will make a stir out of anything just to become relevant nowadays.
IMO, snow spray is only rude to goalies covering up a puck with the intent of spraying their eyes. Otherwise, it's just a common phenomenon in ice hockey, or ice skating in general.
At least the moose are out now, shit while they are at it take out bernier and put in jordan schorder. Posted via RS Mobile
I was actually pleased with Bernier's performance yesterday. He was at the dirty areas and did what he is supposed to do, make life for Quick like hell. He was the reason for the Ehrhoff goal.
As a basher of Bernier, I take my word and it would be great if he can keep playing like he did yesterday.
Edit: I don't think Schroeder is eligible for a call-up
