What's crazy is that Mikael Samuelsson is winning the poll for MVP in that series.. He was the best forward, but Luongo is pretty much the only reason they won.
yeah, I'm not even sure if he's gonna be back and ready to play
for the rest of the season...
The longer he takes to return, the higher the competition gets, and the
harder it is to get back into the lineup and prepared to keep up.

Not the only reason. Samuelsson played well. Daniel had 2 GWG. And Luongo wasn't even playing that well until the last
few games, especially the last.

fuck that song was in my head the rest of the playoffs after Kane destroyed luongo the last game and got a hat trick
it must've messed with luuu's dead after every goal tho
Basically, Mitchell is done for the year. He probably won't play another game in a Canucks uniform as Gillis will sign a younger stay-at-home defenceman, like Dan Hamhuis. He might not play next season. He might not play another game in the league. Concussions can do that to a person.
On the brighter side, Johnson may be back in the middle of the series - Game 3 or Game 4. Whether or not he'll be effective is another story.
WTF, Canucks day? For winning 1 round????? What an idiotic idea.
Yeah, totally stupid idea...

Cool! I heard about it this morning and wanted to ask for a pic of this. Apparently during the Olympics, they put red mittens on the statues too.

Anybody else feel that this isn't confirmed? I just find it weird how CBC wouldn't fight hard to have at least 1 of the first 4 games on Saturday since the Canucks are their flagship team this postseason.
I heard on the radio that the schedule for game 6 conflicts with an Eagles concert at GM place that day...
Does that mean the concert is canceled ? I was supposed to get tickets for that concert for my parents. I guess I can get them Canucks tickets instead.

The Eagles are in town Friday and Saturday May 9 and 10
Friday May 14 - Stars On Ice
Saturday May 15 - Keith Urban
I don't think these dates are confirmed.

The only flagship team they care about is Toronto!
Wow, was actually able to score a pair of tickets for game 6 for less then $400. Surprising considering how brutal ticketmaster has been to me for the last couple years and trying to get tickets for anything Canucks.
