If Mtl was to play Van in the SCF there would be a war at my house. Dad is a die hard Habs fan and myself a die hard Canucks fan. I would be kicked out if the Canucks won the cup.
you can just hammer him and then burn the house down
crazy how the east and the west had completely different results for teams moving on.
west - 1, 2, 3, 5
east - 8, 7, 6, 4
lol one of each seed is going on to the next round

I'm still in shock that the Habs won but man talk about a epic fail for the Caps and talk about a wasted season. It's safe to say that it's been one awful year for Ovie.
I don't if anyone has mentioned this but I heard on the the radio that Jim Hughson won't be calling the Canucks games because the Habs won.
It's beyond shocking that a player who has 40 goals and 88 points can't score one goal and I think he slumped in the playoffs last season.
In a way, not that much different from Burrows, who had 35 goals, but only managed to pot the empty netter in the whole series... but fortunately we had more than enough others chipping in to fill the void.

not really comparable..
burrows has done so much more than semin in the playoff.
He plays on the PK, blocks shots, and checks other players.
He contributes to this team even when he's not potting big points.
burrows is a great player, and he deserves a lot of credits for this team success in the regular season and playoff.
