That's quite the stretch calling the #1 team in the conference beating the #5 team an upset...
Well, more like it's a shock that Sharks didn't choke and die in the first round,
and the fact that they're pretty much guaranteed to 3rd round now.
(hope they choke and die the next 4 games. lol)
LOL,. that was good. I've always wondered about that. How much do teams follow media, cause sometimes it seems like they can get some good info.

Besides every playoff game being important, I think this one is really a "must" win, as in, this one will make or break the series.
If they drop this game, their confidence will take a big dive. You'd expect they can win at home with the best home record,
and if they don't... game 4 might be too much of an uphill climb with depleted momentum.

"(In Game 2) we let them do pretty much whatever they wanted to do," groused Vancouver defenceman Shane O’Brien. "Their guys are going hard to the net, snowing (Luongo), bumping him, slashing him. We’ve got to play a lot meaner, a whole lot grittier. It’s playoff time." (Sportsnet)

Good playoffs so far, for me.........
I hate Montreal with a passion - they're behind
I hate Ginger Boy (Detroit) - his team's behind and facing elimination
I love Boston - they're leading
I believe in the Canucks - they're doing OK

Well, if a team can come back from being down 3-0 in the playoffs, it will be Detroit.
Also, if a team can end up losing the series, after being up 3-0, it will be San Jose.

We need to push back and get tougher. Hopefully Hordy can do that for us. It's not like Grabner is going to get much done getting 4 minutes of ice/game. Grabs needs to be on the 2nd/3rd line to be productive.
Grabs doesn't get much TOI anyways. We have enough goalscorers in our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line.
Out of our players in those 3 lines, he's really at the bottom of the totempole in the scoring depth. It would make the most sense to me if AV is looking for a reply to the Hawk's toughness game.
