heres my recap of the canucks scrimmage then from the prospect camp, yes there were two events and i watched both
Bernier looked slimmer and faster
Wellwood looked fatter, but stronger on the puck
Mason Raymond is the same old speedy guy zippin around
SOB slimmed down and is FASTER, jumped in a few times during scrimmage
i believe all the D played, it was a very fast pace scrimmage, hordichuk made some really blind passes, and it seems theres some good chemistry between raymond/ryan johnson/bernier who played consistently together, there were some nifty moves/passes
as for the two goalies, Schnieder and Raycroft both didnt look too good.
The prospect camped look good, i thot 71 was sherikov..hahaha i was wrong
i manage to catch a glimpse of demitra shooting with luongo, demitra looks like he doesnt have a shot due to injury.

Raycroft was never good. He was awful for the Leafs and beyond awful for the Avs. Scary thing is he'll be getting quite a few starts because of the shitload of road games the Canucks have before and after the Olympic break.

i don't think shirokov's played on small ice before.. might need some seasoning with the Moose first. Let's see how he does during preseason.
He was making 500K in the KHL.

He was making 500K in the KHL. | If I'm not mistaken he has played on North American ice before during the WJC's a couple years ago.

And for the "Presale code" for the canucks.. if this is the one given to the Season ticket holders or whatever, it will not work for everybody but that holder only...your order will just get cancelled if you do get an order in. Correct me if I'm wrong

But whatever, as long as he sees only 10% of the games max, I'm not sweating it.

I've been trying to find how much Sanford is pulling but my quick google articles are saying that his contract amount is undisclosed.

Sanford couldn't get the job done. That's why (I think) he's gone.

Raycroft will go to the minors i believe and Cory will be up as the back up to play a couple of games, if he plays well and wins us games as the back up, he will be traded (higher value) at the trade deadline and raycroft will come up as backup, if Cory stinks up the joint, he'll be sent back down regardless with Raycroft up, thats what i think.

According to that it was $650K, I don't know why but I kept thinking he got paid more. $600K is what MTL is paying him.

Is it just me, or does MG like shopping at the Leaf's used bin? Does he have their UFA List on Internet Explorer Favourites or something.
