- Hawaii (so far never heard anything bad but it is a pretty small area)
- Toronto, Ontario (winter snow is freakin crazy from what i was told)
havent really decided but would like ppl's opinions. Im trying to find a place where living lifestyle is not too different from here in BC and preferably cheap real estate prices.

Your decision should largely be based on your relative income in that particular area. If your job pays well in that city, that will ensure a better standard of living.
From your list of cities:
I have friends in Sydney; it is much more expensive overall than Vancouver, and is racially tolerant due to a diverse ethnic variety -- outside of the cities however, you are likely to encounter unfriendliness.
I also have a friend who grew up in Hawaii, and she described it as being boring where everyone from there wanted to leave the island. If your personality is very chillax, perhaps it'd be alright?
The USA can be awesome -- if your job is with a large corporation, their healthcare plans are all-inclusive and cover your entire family. Most of my Canadian friends there today enjoy health plans on par with what they had back home in Van.
Toronto, no opinion.
