Audio STOLEN FROM MY CAR! Last night (Monday, June 23rd at night) my car was broken into near Bay and Government at my dad's condo complex. They stole a significant amount of audio from my car. This seems like an impossible attempt at salvaging anything, I know... but it's worth a try... If anybody knows of any of the missing components on the follow list, please let me know. I'll be offering a cash reward to anyone that can help me find these items... Out of the all the equipment that was taken, the components I really cared about were... Boston Subwoofer G5124 - There were two of them. Both are 12". They were housed in an inverted fiber glass box. Clarion Amplifier 500W Amplifier - There were two of these amps...model name DPX2250. Clarion Amplifier 1500W Mono, Digital - Another amp... model name DPX11500. Clarion in-dash CD/DVD 7" LCD screen - An in-dash TV screen for a car. Model number... VRX765VD http://www.seductionprofits.com/stolenaudio01.jpg If it's any help, my car is a 2001 black BMW 330ci. I have no idea how much insurance will cover at this point... but needless to say they probably won't be able to cover for much aftermarket stuff. Again, I'm offering a cash reward for the return of any of these items! Please PM me if you see any of these items for sale around town. |
I'll keep an eye out. |
doesn't your car have dead bolt system ??? how they get in |
NashMan, the e46 locks are very, very vulnerable. It's as easy as popping off the door lock mechanism. It happened to me on my previous owner. Good thing you sold yours :p Dirkph.... :( |
ICBC will give you a max of 1000 for audio gear. Plus damages to the car. |
I had ab 04 330i before E46's are notoriously easy to break into. You can defeat the factory alarm and lock very easily. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbZBOopZEqo |
i don't think mine had key holes from what i remmber |
ya it does, and everyone please stop posting anything regarding ease of breaking in. |
