Just fyi, they have already been able to jailbreak and unlock the 3gs. So it should come out within a month or so.

not yet... the dev team found they are able to use an old exploit but by no means have dev team been able to jailbreak and unlock the 3gs.
I think you meant the 3g with 3.0 software is jailbreakable and unlockable
