Gave Misako on Kingsway a shot since all I did in the past was bounce around cheap salons that only did spiky cuts/fauxhawks, and I wanted something a little cleaner. It's 40 bucks after tip, but I'd go back since my stylist actually took her time cutting my hair rather than the 15 minute clipper/scissor jobs I always got. Cut also included a shampoo. Probably one of the best haircuts I've ever had to boot.

my ol man still insists on cutting my hair, i don't complain i go with it, saves me a lot of money.

I get my haircut at Aliya's Beauty Centre on Main St. inside the IGA Mall area,
every two weeks on sunday!
$20 I believe, I always get Mya to cut my hair, she always pays attention to detail and never gets it wrong. :D

edit: 2949 Main Street Vancouver, across from the starbucks on 13th Avenue I believe!

I went to la blanche mcdonald. It's a hair school. 10$ haircut, but I originally went there to meet women. Unfortunatly the girl cutting my hair said I looked like justin bieber and openly admited to liking his music. If that wasn't bad enough, her favorite movie was Twilight. I can't flirt with someone with such poor taste, even if they did compare me to some boy everyone goes gahgah over. Not a single girl there I wouldn't do stuff with, except for the teacher. Pretty sure she used to be a he, or still is a he. Not my style.

Free haircuts FTW :fullofwin:

I shave my head weekly. Nice and easy! When I had hair, I used to go to my moms friend who has her own in home salon here in surrey. $8 for a haircut

For the last 10 years I went to Suki's on South Granville. Now I've been looking for the right and cheap barbershop to cut my difficult hair.

any good haircut places around king george skytrain station?
great clips raped me the other day, without the lube.... i need a new cut place asap

dygital 09-09-2012 01:24 AM

I pay $30 + tax,tip for my haircut. I go to churra (downtown) really awesome place, but you have to call like a week or two in advance to schedule an appointment. Might not be worth it for everyone, depends what kinda cut you're looking for I guess.

Depends on what you want really. There's Super Hair Design by New Town if you want spiky Asian styles, or there's a barber shop in Central City right next to Boston Pizza. The cut I got at the barber shop there was decent the last time I went, but that was when I was still going to random places.

It would be a 15-20 minute drive from the King George Skytrain station, and it's a little on the expensive side at around $25 (iirc), but Chop Shop on 200th has outstanding stylists.

If you guys are in surrey and want a cheap but good hair cut, check out F10. It's inside the T & T at Central City. The guy their does a pretty good job, the girl is ok. They can speak english and do what you ask them to do.

Cost $10 incl tax. You buy a "ticket" from a machine. I've never seen anything like it here before, but apparently the concept is well known in HK.

I used to go to Chop Shop on Commercial and pay $37 incl tax and tip- but this guy does everything except the hair wash for $10. Totally worth it.
