I've tried Blue, Designer Zone, Joyce and Sejong. imo Sejong is the best out of those 4 Korean places. I got my haircut there a while back from a chick named Linda, she was fobby but understood what I wanted and did a really good job for $20ish (includes wash). Unfortunately, it's way too far for me to go there consistently (I went to the North Road one, there's also one on West Blvd). I get my haircut from Yoshimi now at Misako in Richmond and before that I was a regular at EC because I liked how Eric cuts short hair. Oh and the girl at Joyce does an okay job, but the couple times I went there she gave me fobby Korean bangs lol and I saw her at the club one time. Fuckin awkward cause she asked me why I don't go to her to cut hair anymore lol. btw she's not that young; she's 27. |
maybe im just old? :troll: which club did she go to? i wanna hit that. |
LOL it was at boss . She seems very playful and nice. Pretty sure if you get your haircut from her a lot, you could get her number and take her out. |

Hairworld on Kingsway, 10$ + wash and hot chick with her tits in your face during the wash. & Studio D on Fraser and 41st 22$ pretty sick cuts there. |
I get a straight razor shave at the Barber Shop at Burrard and Davie. They do haircuts too; $20 I think. Straight razor shaves are $18. Both of those tax in. |

Yo guys, i'm surprised there's no other hairstylists on here. I'd like to introduce myself here. I never spam for business but I thought it would be pretty cool to get some RS'ers in for a cut and see some dope cars. Been doing hair for over 5 years and have worked at notable salons, Hennessey Salon and Spa's and Helmet / Canvas on west 4th. I do everything from fades to "fob / emo / hipster / cool guy" and have rocked every cut in between, besides a ponytail. And of course, 90% of guys strictly go by pricing. I've charged up to $55 for a mens cut in the past and charge $30 now regularly as a freelance stylist. But for bro's and car friends i do $20 which includes a wash, dry and a haircut by a perfectionist. Don't expect a 15 minute quickie because good haircuts take longer than taking a shit. Give me a ring guys. |
Bring your girlfriends too. i swear, i'll just act gay. http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...802_1031_n.jpg http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photo...73760_7529.jpg http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photo...58747_5616.jpg |

I can understand if you got some korean moviestar hair to be charging that price but how can you make the typical asian haircut...fade and trim...any better? $40+ every 2 weeks is pretty steep. Would you be able to choose the best possible cut for me eventhough I have no clue what I want and that'll suit my face? Thanks |
avoid "3G Nice" hair salon (under Ninkazu japanese resturant) in Central square richmond. Its runned by fobs and the only ppl who go there for a cut are highskool G-star wanabes or actually Fobs that just arrived in Canada and dunno any other place that speaks mandarin. Fully regretted getting a cut from there. |
Hair World 1639 Kingsway only $10 includes a rinse pree good cuts friendly people big breasts |
Visit Sam at Broadway Barbers on the 3400 block West Broadway. Sports are always on the TV and its only $20 including tip for a solid fade or other. |

Has anyone ever had a fade done at Junior's (inside Dipt) or JD's in Gastown? I need a fade and a shape-up done for a wedding and I have never been to a proper barber shop before. TIA! |
