Bump for a slightly different topic; I'm rocking Mutton Chops these days, but since I don't have a proper shaving mirror, I know my chops are a bit wonky and uneven. I know there's a barber shop at Burrard and Davie that does good stuff for decent prices, but does anyone know any other places? I don't work DT anymore and I'm not sure I'd want to make the commute just to get a beard trim.
I live in Burnaby, for reference. And no, I don't wanna spend like $50 at one of those man-spas that've popped up and charge a ridiculous amount.

Try the Sorrento Barbers on East Hastings and Nanaimo. Some old school Italian flair if that's what you're after and they do a pretty good job (when I went there) for shaves and beard trims. Be forewarned - there may be a bit of a language barrier.
That or invest in your own beard trimmer kit. |

I haven't been there in ages, sorry!
You could also try Jerry's European Hair Styling on the northeast corner of Main and Broadway (right in Hipsterville.) Ask for Carmen (he's a guy) and one of his specialties are beard trims as he has one himself. For sure less than $20 and maybe even get a hair cut too haha!

Can anyone recommend a good place in Richmond? Price range anywhere from $15-$25, preferably a place a little more specialized then a place like Great Clips.

I go to JD's barber in gastown. For the price (20$ after 5$ discount for students on thursdays), I think they do a very good job. Ask for Johnny, super chill guy and he's really good with his undercuts!

If you want to go Churra, Book like 1-2 weeks ahead since they're pretty busy

Get your haircut at Jennys in Richmond! She used to work at JD's barber in gastown and is now working in her own home (has a small studio in the back). Does both men and women's, from hair colour, sharp fades to stylish cuts. She's a friend of mine and a real down to earth person.
