Chinese Visa Extension?

Is it possible to extend/prolong the entry date of a Chinese Visa?

I was suppose to go to china last month so I applied for a visa but because of school conflicts I didn't end up going.
The last day of entry is at the end of this month but I probably won't be able to go until august....
So is there a process to extend/prolong the entry date?

Yes go back to the consulate let them know the situation and they will extend it, I dont think they will charge you an additional fee but that depends on the perosn serving you. Most Visas they issues though are usually good for 6 months for entry ask them whyt this option was not given to you
