so what your implying is: the mini hit the Taho, and the Taho flipped?

lol, funny. But, the Tahoe could have been turning plus the Mini probably slid under it lifting it up and causing the vehicle to flip.

There is obviously more to this story then what is being shown there.
Lets say the Tahoe had gone over a bump and the suspension was uncompressing the Mini Cooper wouldnt have much trouble pushing it over.
If a 150 lb person tried to push a 300 lb person over they would most likely have difficulty. If the 150 lb person pushed the 300 lb person as they were trying to jump in the air it most likely wouldnt take much force at all. The 300 lb person was already doing most of the work for them.

looks like there was a fair bit of force just look at the indent in the tahoe's passenger side, so you can't say it didn't take much to push it over, doesn't look like there would be huge bumps in the road there either.

from the looks of it, the tahoe was turning out from the side, and i'm guessing he/she was trying to make it before the mini so he/she probably cranked the steering wheel and floored it out, center of gravity tilts the car unloading one side of the suspension and loading the other side, mini catches the tahoe and flip it goes.

These pictures were taken by one of the firemen who were called to the scene, with his camera phone. The officials who responded to the accident could not believe that the Mini (and I) sustained so little damage. The other vehicle involved is a Chevy Tahoe. I was driving south on a one-way street and the other driver was driving west, also on a one-way street. The other driver ran a red light (that had been red for a long time) and appeared in the intersection just in front of me as I came through. I didn't even see them. I hit the passenger's side of Tahoe head-on, and the Tahoe rolled. In one of the pictures, you can see the Mini-shaped dent in the vehicle that is on its side. The driver of the Tahoe was unhurt and did get a ticket. She was also insured.

Probably a different story if the Cooper reached the intersection sooner than the Tahoe.

I would think it's just a coincident that the Tahoe flipped due to the position of the two cars at the moment of collision. If they did various crash tests for the Mini and the Tahoe, I'll bet 9/10 times the Mini will suffer more damage.
