selling broken bike?

my brother has recently moved out of town and won't be back for a while. he's graciously left us with his '06 CBR RR that is currently not running. from what i can see, the engine cover on the left side is cracked and oil has leaked. because none of us @ home ride, he's agreed for us to get rid of it asap as it is taking up useful space.

so.. are there any places that will take it off our hands in non-running condition? we're not looking to get raped, but if a reasonable offer for an '06 CBR RR is made, we'll take it.

i've already contacted chopshop, but would appreciate other info/shops.

TIA.

you'll get more money by fixing it and selling it. should buy all the parts from the chopshop then list the bike for sale once its fixed

If the bike is still available, I would be interested.

Got a buddy who buys rebuids from ICBC so I got all the parts and help to fix it.

if it is only the engine cover then it shouldn't be too much, but if there is body work that is damaged, then it will cost a lot more
