None of this $25 brokerage fee nonsense.

Fuck FedEx/UPS/DHL.
Yea FedEx and DHL are horrible. UPS used to allow you to clear customs yourself, but not sure if that option is available anymore. But at least it was an option whereas the other guys you're screwed.

The MDR is great, but I think the QDR is still his best work.

I think they still do but after factoring in your time to reach them, going there yourself and having to go through the process, it's barely worth it!

All ToJ is MTM. But he's stopping MTM very soon IIRC, instead creating a new brand with OTR fits at JOHN COPPIDGE

I'm uncertain about the QDR, as most of my stuff are usually very minimalistic and simple, so I think the MDR would suit me better. But I've seen some fit pics of the QDR and it is amazing. Friend has one too and always gets complimented on it.

holy shit gotta make new reddit name now LOL. How'd you recognize it was DH :O. I have 4 pairs of DH and all of em I bought online. Holts used to carry em back in the day but discontinued, and the only store that carrires em now is Leone but they mark it up like crazy (I saw a pair for 1.3k). I suggest getting it off sufu or LVR (they include duties in their prices iirc). I really want to get the jake from LVR, but 500 or 600 is a bit steep.

I still have to pick up a pair of DH 19cm indigo raws to finish off my collection. Can't believe LVR stopped carrying the MIJ raws. Just when I decided to pull the trigger, they stopped carrying it, fml. Also I have to sell 2 pairs of DH 28's that don't fit anymore --"

Didn't pay for it yet, but its going to be 735 USD. HAha I wish man, I just work multiple jobs year round while going to school to feed my addiction. Currently working 3 jobs (part time, TA, TM). This fall season has been crazy. Spent like 2.75k+? LOL. Most of the stuff are staples though, so I expect it to last quite a long time.

been there done that aha... maybe I'm just too fickle.

I'm thinking of copping a mdr but at the same time I'm really interested in seeing what he's done for coppidge. I mean usually fashion designers (no big names) get better with time. he also has more funds, connections, bigger market etc. "winter 2012" is basically here so can't be too long of a wait. My biggest fear though is price. I don't see how he could possibly lower them, but they aren't MTM anymore so who knows

Haha, well I probably can't go wrong with getting a MTM MDR. If anything, I'll get another leather in brown or smth for the coppidge piece :P I also want to get their button downs, saw a few fit pics and dayum they look nice.

I wonder wtf is up with my ToJ peacoat order..... Someone who ordered in Aug got his shipping today and somehow I still don't have mine.... I swapped orders with someone who ordered back in June! Makes no sense an Aug order gets shipped while the June one doesnt... Ugh. Maybe the order swapping delayed things, fml.

i just ordered 2 alpha industries ma-1 flight jackets in sage green and black. I like the sage green more and so im planning to sell my black one or return it. It sells for $135 after tax at gorilla surplus. Im giving it away for $95 (save $40), its brand new and size large. Their website recommends you should buy a size larger. If you are regularly a large, it will fit good as well. PM me if interested.

Copped some freshie Nike Free Runs at 50% off from a friend. Was only going to wear them for functional purposes, but they don't look half bad with denim.

Also some W+H and Reigning Champ recently. Dat navy.

finally received my two pairs of Allen Edmonds.

1 x MacNeil in Brown Leather
1 x Neumok in Brown Leather with the red wine colored laces.

Question to you guys is which looks better for the Neumoks, the straight Oxford type lacing or the more casual criss cross lacing?

and again... no ones going to see (take notice of) your laces

exposed laces and seeing (noticing) your laces are 2 different things

and in the rare event that it's seen, there is then taking notice, and then! you'd have to consider others caring/having a opinion about it AND THEN does their opinion even matter since its just laces?
