^agreed. out of all the big metropolitan cities I've been to in North America, Vancouver is the shittiest shopping city, hands down.

Grabbed a pair of sevens from nordstrom rack in alderwood the other day. Any specific way to wash/dry it to prevent any shrinking? The fit is pretty perfect right now!

You also want to wash it first before hemming...as it may shrink a bit.
If theres some crazy wash on it, apparently you can preserve it better by washing it along with vinegar. Dont quote me on that....ive yet to try it personally

Hard to predict when Canadapost will slap you with duties/taxes. I've had packages that are valued at $200 slip through without duties/taxes but I've had packages marked as low as $30 get taxed.

I know it's hard to tell and maybe you just got unlucky on the $30 item?

This is what I bought recently:
Still looking for some boots for winter. Like the Converse Outsider, yet want to try on the various colours first and no-one stocks them in Vancouver. If anyone can find this colour combination in size 11 in Vancouver or online I owe you big time.
