Anyone have experience with this phone? Turns out Fido won't let you use mp3's as ringtone and a couple of the menu keys are un-assignable (specifically the top right assigned to internet when I want it assigned to something else).

Can I get the phone modified anywhere? It's kinda irritating that Fido would dumb it down like that.

You could by it unlocked/unbranded which would resolve your issue

or flash it yourself
i flashed mine with a service provider's fw in europe (orange)

and it lets me use mp3 ringtones

yeah this phone is nice, but pretty much all telus/rogers/fido phones block that, well i know iphone doesn't surprisingly
They all want you to buy their shitty ringtones...
