That Lada for sale is actually in pretty good aesthetic condition. If I didn't have the MR2, I would've gone out to buy this already.

Looks like a simple restoration, just some rust on the floorboards, maybe this guy thought he could make a ice fishing hole like the other one on top gear!

is there anywhere to get parts locally? when i was a kid, i remember there was a lada dealership in winterpeg. my friend wanted to buy that lada on craigslist and swap a SR20 or 2JZ into it hahah, he's russian too!

The brakes can't be too hard, it's 4 drums I think, and it's based off a peugeot sedan so it's probably similar stuff

Saw many Trabi's in Berlin...I would have loved to try out one of those! Many were restored and kept in great shape too!
