PHIL 220A: Symbolic Logic I - SYMBOLIC LOGIC I

Anyone ever take this course before? I used to hear how PHIL 120/220 were super easy courses, but apparently they have been reconstructed so that they are actually challenging??

pure garbage. easiest course ever...220 at least. I had friends taking 120, and acing it without studying much.

I took the online 220 and i ended up with 84%. Just to warn you, because it's online, you're still required to do homework and study for it. If I studied, I think i could have easily gotten above 90%. But all that said, the class course tends to have a higher average. My class average for the online was pretty high but the normal class was even higher.

I recommend having a friend with you too if you plan on doing the online. If one person gets it, it's very easy to explain to the others. Reading that online textbook was a real pain in the ass. Don't recommend online if you're HONESTLY not disciplined. Good luck!

Forgot to add, I just took it last year.

It really depends on your prof/instructor and I got some over-achieving masters student teaching. I took it as a summer course and it was NOT as easy as the guy above described. This, coming from a person who took CPSC 121.

Took the online one..pretty easy..but yea burkholder is changing it up..

When I took it he limited the homework to doing it 2 times only..but i think the average dropped alot..so he made it 4 times the next term..so i dno it depends..

if you have even a sense of logic you'll be fine..
