Anyone work for Coast Mountain or any other Travel Store?

I'm traveling throughout Nepal, India and South East Asia for about a year in 2months so i'm looking to purchase a large amount of products as I need to buy everything from scratch. So I was wondering if anyone works at a store, and if so, is their any possibility of getting a deal with such a large purchase? I've budgeted about $1300 for my back-bag, shoes, sleeping bag, long johns, shirts sox etc etc. I'm trekking base camp Everest so I need quality.
