What is the "going" rate for shipping wheels?

What i have is a set of 4, 18 inch wheels with tires to ship possibly to Texas 78108.

Also, what is the safest way i should request for payment? If anyone has experience with doing long distance business specifically with wheels i'd appreciate advice.

i shipped rims to ontario using greyhound and that cost me around $130-150 forgot
