Some of the new equipment at my gym

Looks like they are starting to focus a bit more on athlete training again.
Last week I showed up at the gym to see two huge tractor tires sitting outside.
I walk in and there are a bunch of Atlas Stones sitting there. They also got a couple kegs for lifting too.. lol
On top of that they already had a platform for doing olympic lifts and they are also building a dedicated boxing/kickboxing training area to the gym.
I goto The Garage in Surrey btw.

I'm coming to your gym with my bag of chalk. Questions:

1. How many platforms and does it busy often
2. Who runs the Oly lifting there?
3. Bumper plates?
4. What kind of olympic bar? Eleiko?

no need to bring chalk... they have it there..

1 platform.. I rarely see it being used..
I dont think anyone runs the Olympic lifting.. if you wanna do them you just use the equipment..
They have rubber weights up to 50 lbs
No idea what kind of bar they have..

either 30 or 35 a month on a 6 month contract with no signup fees..
the lightest stone is 200 lbs.. I'm guessing the bigger ones were 300

They do have mirrors now.. not too many of them though.. lol

I was gonna try this place out because it seemed like a gym more geared towards weight training rather than cardio. Just wondering how the equipment and management is and does it get busy after 5pm?

The equipment is sorta old but they have everything you might possibly need to get stronger/bigger. The management is awesome. The guy that owns it seems to know everyones name and will usually have a bit of small talk with everyone while they are there..
The staff is really friendly too..

Best commercial gym I've been to. Good music as well. I just wished, by the platform there were no mirrors. Just a minor gripe.

And there are actually 2 platforms, however, the Olympic barbell's aren't taken care of very well. The Elieko bar's are $1200 easily and should be maintained as such.
