Student Loan Audit Issues

Here's the problem

When they check for my monthly rental, they request for my cancelled cheques as proof of rental payments

but most of the time, I withdraw cash from my bank account to pay the rent and I did not keep the receipts and statement in the past few years because I did not expect the audit.

However, I've sent them the copies of rent receipts to them, but they do not accept the rent receipts. They have to specifically need my bank statement from Sept 2006 to April 2009.

Today I've called President's Choice for past statement request, they want to charge $5 per monthly statement which is $5 x 32 = $160 statement request. In other words, they do not accept either downloaded internet statement or rental receipts. They just want my bank statement, but that is a huge bill.

Has anyone come across with this situation ?

can your landlord not provide a letter and can you not prove that you lived at that addresses by say your credit card bill or phone bill or something?

They just want "cancelled checks"

He gave me another option as if i do not have monthly withdrawal proof

I need a "notarized statement" which is simply a letter saying I am not living with them and have the lawyer witness and sign the letter
FUC_

How much do the lawyer usually charge to witness and signed the letter?

Please give me advice.........

^ what he said. Notary public is way cheaper than a lawyer too.

Use the phone book to find one.

What school do you go too? See if they offer any free lawyer services. I know SFU does

what if you put in less than what you make for your gross earnings in your past applications? ..... and what happens if you're waiting for your next loan ... do we get much less then??

and what the fuck!!! do we just get randomly selected for audits???
