Hostel/Hotel to stay in Osaka?

so i have decided to go with a 8 day tour to Japan with a guide and extra 3 days exploring ourselves

my tour will end up in Osaka, and I will be left free at the KAnsai International Airport.

***Which hostel/hotel is the BEST to stay at? i'm looking at around $50 a person, we have 3 guys.***

i want to be near SHOPPING, FOOD and FUN

on the departure date, i have to be at Osaka Airport at 8am.

reason why I got the tour: 1. Price. the price i pay to go japan myself is more expensive than if I get myself a tour with extra 3 nights. and 2. i have never been to japan, i want to see as much tourist attractions as i can.

Toyoko-inn

Generally meant for business-men who travel for work. Affordable & always located near train-station.
