GPRS is good enough to go on RS, email, and youtube?

it will work...but be prepared to wait while things load/buffer and you might get the occassional stutter while streaming. (i.e. Radio)

On 2g (Edge), i average 70-90kbps, and on 3G (HSDPA), i average 2000-3000kbps (on Rogers)
On a positive note, you get way better battery on 2G

sorry, 70-90 kbps as in 7-9 kB/s?

nvm, I am right.

nvm...I am getting this

Yes, it's good enough for e-mails.

If you use windows live messenger or push mail, there's other things to consider. I force my Samsung Epix to use the Edge connection rather than 3G. Push mail and messenger need a constant connection and 3G just sucks the life out of the battery.

0.2Mb/s is like 20kB/s
