| My cousin used his '90 Si for courier work. 500,000km and the head had never come off the car. Smoked a bit til the valve seals warmed up but drove great and still passed aircare. He was on his second clutch when he SOLD it. I changed the oil every month regardless of mileage and did a tune up every year. 4 rads, 2 starters, 3 alternators, 3 pairs of CV's, 2 coils, 4 timing belts about a dozen brake jobs, 2 alarms and 6 or 7 stereo systems.
He pretty much granny shifted it all day. Whenever I got my hands on it to work on, I would actually rev the thing and drive it moderately hard. He always said it drove better after I had it for a couple of hours. LOL |
