WRX or Cooper S

I know these two are completely different but the lease payments are similar.

ones a practical, awd, powerful hatchback

Ones a stylish city car with great fuel economy

Both have pretty good residual value which means fairly low monthly payments. Especially subaru with their 24 month

I would suggest the WRX as it's faster (I think?) and a much more practical car.

But if you are going strictly for image, the Cooper S would wins hands down.

albert116 i'm just looking at what the web site says

which is before tax $510 for 24 months on the subaru $530 for the mini

As for 39 months, its about $480 on the subaru and $430 on the mini

I'm sure theres probably room for negotiation for both, just look at their stock!

Does mini include servicing in their warranty like BMW?
Is there some eco rebate for the mini since its like 7L/100km on gas?

And yes Death_blossom the wrx is way faster 0-60 sub 6 seconds and AWD

wrx is more versatile. and an all rounder I guess

mini wins the cuteness contest that' all
and fit finish and maybe quality too..

subaru are known for road noise, rattles , wind noise, rattles , road noise, rattles
not sure if the new model still does..

Take both out for a drive and you'll see that the MINI is considerably more fun to drive than the WRX and gets much better fuel mileage. Subarus are pretty reliable though, and the Impreza has decent interior/cargo room with excellent AWD.

And no maintenance is not included with the MINI. They're a lot cheaper to maintain than people think too.

Cooper S:
1.) it looks a lot better than the wrx, inside and out.
2.) if I'm not mistaken, free maintenance
3.) better gas mileage

The mini obviously would be more fun to drive, since the wheelbase is so short, but then you lose a lot of the rear seat whereas a 6ft tall guy could fit in the wrx back seat with no problems.

It does look way better inside but the switchgear is so complicated! it's pretty though and definitely got the cuteness factor.

But i dunno the mini's impracticality (relative) aside, doesn't it seem just a bit too played out? But the 39month lease payments are so attractive! cheaper than the kia soul! XD

WRX seems more practical to me.
larger interior, relatively good on gas and relatively good on maintenance

Get real, you are not going too see anywhere near that mileage if you stay in the city.

Also you have to use premium gas in the cooper S.

Fixed! but i know what you mean

and the fuel economy of the mini will be way better than the WRX although it's not such a big deal since we won't be putting that many kms on it.

unless your boyfriend is 6ft tall, that should be at the bottom of the list.

i would get a wrx, AWD is priceless in this city.... snow, ice, rain, avoiding baddrivers & potholes, great local subaru community.
