Vancouver Business Owners

Two things.

First is a question:

I was wondering if anybody here knew if there were forums that caters to business owners in general or specifically vancouver/lower mainlands.

Second is for owners:

Reason is that I'm helping a friend setup his site. For all business owners in Vancouver can post their company at:

Shirlz.com

for free. She's also looking for feedback as well.

The only diff i see is about Shirlz.com and Canpages is that Shirlz has a budget.

Honestly, if i'm gonna get some keys cut, i wont care about $4 - $8. It'll be about whats closer to me, incase the key does not work. Secondly, there are soo many nightlife guides: clubzone.com / clubvibez.com. Thirdly, if i want to find food, there is dinehere.ca which gives reviews and budgets and is already well established. For the people with iphones there is the urbanspoon app. For the people that are looking to do business within their region ( Yaletown , the drive , kits ) they all their BIA websites which list all the stores.

For those reasons, I dont think this website will succeed. It dosn't offer anything new and since its relatively new, it will not have 100% of the data that dinehere or clubzone or YBIA has.

Oh yea, it's free to list on clubzone, YBIA, dinehere as well.
