91/92 Octane would be around $1.20 locally so it's more like $10 saved with 50L.

Are you sure about that? The prices at Point Roberts are always around 15-20 cents cheaper than here... I don't see how it could have been as low as 69 cents a few days ago.

the people that go to the states for gas dont factor in the wait time at the border when ur car is just guzzling your gas and the distance. I live in surrey and used to go to abbotsford to get gas. I figured saving 10 cents was a big deal but later realized that saving $5 and driving 30 mins wasn't worth it to me.

Yesterday I went to fill at the Chevron @ Point Roberts. I was able to time it so I was just about empty (the gas light came on waiting at the border.

@ Pump 2, it said that I filled 46.5L of gas. This is impossible, since every other pump, when my gas light comes on, its about 40L to fill. (My gas tank is 50L)

Either the gas pump wasn't calibrated or they're ripping off Canadians who think they're getting a good deal on gas. The price is about 10% lower, but its underfilling by 10%.

YES, i noticed this also

my light came on, but usually it will only take 38L before the pump clicks, but down at the states, my light came on, and it took 10.9 GALLON til the pump clicks.

so 10.9G x 3.98L = 41.26litres

JIbbed??
