FS - 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4

LOOKING FOR TRADES - 4 DOOR SEDAN

Vehicle Details
Year : 1997
Make and Model : Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4
Exterior Color : Olive Pearl
Interior Color : Tan Leather
Auto or Manual? : 6spd Manual
Odometer Reading : 87000 miles
Location of Vehicle : Calgary
Description :
Extras :
Asking Price : 13,500 or trade for equally priced car. Looking for 4 door sedan's (G35's, A4's etc)

This car originated in AZ and came to BC in early 08 and then to Alberta this past March. Its color code is very rare, one in 7 ever made. There were 511 97 VR4's produced. This is car 70. Car is very lightly modified. 6000K HID's, Greddy Turbo Timer and a manual boost controller set for 13psi. Car ran a 13.7 at 100mph once at Race City which is not bad considering its weight "disadvantage"

Car is amazing on the highway! Ive gotten over 600km's on a tank with a Kelowna trip. Everything works! Power sunroof, power windows and driver seat.

The 6G72 is a strong motor and as well as the Getrag 6spd transmission.

I have found a few 97 VR4's in the states starting at the 15,000USD and going up to 20,000. To duplicate this car even if you can find one in this color would be 20,000 - 25,000 CAD. This may be the only Olive Pearl VR4 in Canada.

The car does have a rebuilt title due to a very small engine fire. I have pictures and documentation and the ICBC re-certification. The title does not bother me, but I assume it will to others.

All the car needs is some lowering springs!

I will entertain some trades to the same value or cash on you're end.

Its Walmart tuners like you, that give Honda's a bad name. Give it up!

But if you must know, the cars wheel gap is the way it is because the car has 35 series tires (thinner profile than stock). Plus its a completly stock 97 USDM VR-4, cant get much rarer than that. If I keep the car, it will undergo many modifications to perhaps be on par with a Honda, so I will be sure to send you a picture of the said "lowered" car.

And yes the Supra has seen better days. But then again, the 670whp build is now complete so now its time to work on the cosmetics....goof

This was my car and I drove it for 7 months. I bought it from San Francisco. It caught fire in Vancouver and I got money from the ICBC for it. It was sold at ICBS auction for $2200, probably this guy bought it, fixed it and selling it. It was a nice VR4 though had some electrical problems that would drain the battery.

Well I think it was an electrical short circuit. It was a nice car though. I should have bought it myself and fix it for 8-10k.
